my hoover 510 twintub became my spruce goose about 3 months ago. the pump that was original didn't work and the original drain hose I had routed out the back. I was ready to give up on it and leave it in obscurity in my collection. when I got the notion to try and tackle the workings of the pump. I took the pump off of a newer machine and took it apart and oiled and sealed it real good. I also rigged up the original drain hose so that it works the way it should through the top of the wash tub. and what do you know it actually works the way it should!!! I am very proud of her so please have a look. thanks Bill
