Hello all, I have a couple of vintage Frigidaire washers, to my understanding liquid detergents can harm the machines? Is this true? My wife brought home a bunch of tide & gain pods and I didn't want to use them because I wasn't sure if it would harm my machines. I looked in the forums, but did not see anything about it. Any kind of info. would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Pat

who knows the machines better will come along. I can't see how either would hurt the machine?
Solid tub, perforated tub? Can you show us a pic of your machines?

The two machines are a Unimatic, and Rollermatic. I will try and upload pics later.
