You'll be giving some folks heart attacks over those two washer-dryer combinations!

Sorry for your loss.  Was your uncle a member of this group?  That's a pretty nice collection.

He may have been a member I'm not sure. Dennis Jones if that rings a bell?

He has books, old manuals, advertisements.

He was quite the collector.

Are you only going to sell everything as one lot, or would you consider selling the machines in smaller groups or individually?

Lots of luck with that, especially the price. I have much more stuff than that and can't even give them to anyone! So lotsa luck with actually getting $ for them.

I'm really not sure what they are worth.

I just stuck that on there to see if there is any interest.

i'll entertain any offers for individual ones, smaller groups, medium groups, etc.

Feel free to text/call for any offers 314-680-8979

Holy Smokes!

Do you know if any of the machines are operational?

Post# 889206 , Reply# 9   7/12/2016 at 19:50 (2,838 days old) by chrisblues (St. Louis, MO)

I cannot say for certain which ones are operational. Since they are my uncles and he is no longer around, I am not sure. I have found pictures of them running, so at one point most if not all have been operational.

Nice collection.

It's nice that you're trying to find them a good home.  Some would just junk them all.

Have about three or four flat-plate ironers. You aren't missing much being that you have the Siemens rotary ironer. Indeed my ironers see far more use than the Elnapress or Hurley ironer-presses.

Just FYI that I am breaking up the collection and am willing to sell individual pieces.

The lady Kenmore is no longer available.

Sensible solution

seller was never in his life going to get that lot shifted as a group. He will do far better now that things are broken up and on eBay. The latter means potential buyers can pay via PayPal or whatever means accepted then work out shipping. This expands the pool considerably from what otherwise would be pretty much a local market.

The more rate and unique items such as the combo W&D should do well. From just those alone seller may reach the lower end of his opening number to move the entire lot.

I have broken these all up on eBay.

I'd prefer to sell them on here though directly.

Nice score - that's a fun machine to work on, and not too difficult to find parts for.  Glad some of these cool machines are being saved.
