I nearly fell off my chair this morning when I checked today's patent of the day for an Easy washer design.  Why?  Because the drive and spin mechanisms are exactly what are used on that oddball 1958 Dominion automatic of mine!   I'd seen a 1956 patent for a similar design for an Easy design issued in Canada but this one shows the 'rollerball' spin mechanism in much greater detail.

Although I can get that Canadian Dominion to spin, it's not consistent - perhaps with the additional details show here, a solution to that can be devised.

Ephemera rocks!   Thank you Robert!!
