About 1 month ago I plugged in my Speed Queen to make sure it was still operating didn't put water in it. It has a direct drive pump. It started agitating and then flames flew out under the skirt and there was a burning rubber smell. What is the chances that it is ok? Afraid to plug it in. Any suggestions? Thanks

Is this the same washer as mention previously as giving off a whiff when running?
