Hi everyone. I've quite often referred to this chart comparing the features of the various models of the xx06/xx08/xx09 center-dial Maytag washers and dryers.
Does anyone know if a similar chart exists either covering or including the line of xx07 models (A207, etc), and some of the other models which are missing (D606, etc)? Thanks

Bumping my old thread... I found a chart for the Ax07 washer models!
It was posted by scoots in this thread: Info request on Maytag "HA407" & HDG 405 features http://www.automaticwasher.org/cgi-bin/TD/TD-VIEWTHREAD.cgi?9873

Sure thing! Hopefully people find it useful to have these together. There's a wealth of information on the forum here, just not always together in the same spot, or easy to find...
Even with those three charts, I know there are still models missing though. For example, the A406 washer is not in any of them.
For reference, the A406 is listed in Kenmore71's thread: "MAYTAG Automatic washer & Dryer year of production charts" https://www.automaticwasher.org/cgi-bin/TD/TD-VIEWTHREAD.cgi?47060 ... and photographed in thaobecca's thread: "Maytag A406 washer - should it go to the dump? and other questions..." https://www.automaticwasher.org/cgi-bin/TD/TD-VIEWTHREAD.cgi?5407
Compiling information is slightly complicated by typos and database errors that make nonexistent models show up in Google searches, but there is also at least one interesting kink in the numerical sequence. We have the A106, A206, A406, A606, A806, and A906. We have the A107, A207, and A407. We have the A108, A208, A308, A408, and A608.
But there is also an A506 - that one did in fact exist. It's just newer and not a center-dial! No idea why Maytag decided to dip back into this model number line again in the 1980s... (Reference: bajaespuma's thread: "Here are some oddball Maytags:" https://www.automaticwasher.org/cgi-bin/TD/TD-VIEWTHREAD.cgi?6804)
If anyone has a chart with the A406 in it, please do post it here. |

Nothing "new" to add, but I'm attaching an alternate version of a previously posted chart, this one being just a bit easier to read.
