Nice!

That's a rather deluxe kitchen to be located upstairs in a farm house.  Impressive that it is so well preserved.  Frigidaire range?  Frigidaire refrigerator?  GE electric sink?

I don't think it's newer than 1952, based on the range knobs.

Too bad the floor covering can't likely be pulled up along with everything else.

Bring plenty of help...

... to move this beautiful kitchen! I have moved many appliances... but probably the heaviest is an all-porcelain fridge like the Frigidaire in this kitchen. Very nice ktichen set, nice shape, and although the price seems ambitious, if someone wants an all original kitchen in great condition, you can get it all in this one-stop shop!

Beautiful

That's a great looking time capsule there.

Range and Fridge are indeed 1952 Frigidaire R-series. Electric sink is NOT Frigidaire. Any ideas?

The electric sink is GE

We are using that kitchen table here right now. Ours is even the same color but no original chairs.
We got it back about 89 when I moved out to the cheap rental and we needed cheap furniture for the stuff I didn't have. My mom loved junk shops and garage sales and found old cool stuff for me.
Would be great to find out some of the stuff we got because it was used cheap stuff that worked might have some value now.
She also found me a very large real wood chest of drawers that has special spots for dry cleaned shirts and things like that. Very well made and high quality piece but heavy and takes up most of my bedroom wall on its side. I almost didn't take it it's so big and specialized.

They should stay

right where they are with all the farm's history.

It is interesting to see converted bedrooms(?) made into kitchens, converting upper floors to self-contained living space.  It would be interesting to know the history and reasons.  Particularly that it was used for only five years would lead one to believe it may have been for an aging parent or a rental unit that was tried and abandoned.  The $$ investment for the era was a great amount of money for a simple rental so that just adds to the intrigue.

I would certainly make an effort to snag that refrigerator, what a beauty.  All porcelain and minty-clean makes it (all of the room) a real find.  I'm not confident the seller will get his price, especially when trying to get it sold as one lot.

It was probably a large farm house.  The mother stayed downstairs, avoiding stairs.  The kids, or other relatives took the upstairs.  With the addition of a kitchen they basically created a duplex.

It's impressive it's all together.

It probably has not seen much use in all the years, and probably been sporadic at that.

The large Victorian house my friend Fred lived in as a child had an 2nd floor kitchen that was installed in 1948. His grandmother owned the property, and lived upstairs while my friends parents were on the first floor. She only stayed there for about 3 or 4 years, before moving to Columbus to take a position as a private duty nurse. She returned in the mid 70's to live with his mother, but stayed downstairs until her passing. The appliances were a Gibson range, and I believe Admiral refrigerator. They were like new.
