I have an old limited edition kenmore electronic fabric care dryer model #110.87694810. I need a timer switch is what they are saying, but no luck finding it anywhere. Dryer has power but wint turn on. There's a little switch where the door closes and that sends message to computer. The model# doesnt even come up dont know what year the dryer is. Any ideas on where i can find it will help. Thank you!

The serial number is coded for year and month of manufacture.

Thank you, i will definitely take a look. The man who said hed fix it told me it needed to be an original part if not it wouldn't work and he wants to charge me $380 to fix alongg with the part
He td me part was so old i wouldn't be able to find, but he would. Hebdid said it needed to have 5 wires... does that make sense to anyone?

You're welcome, good luck!

BTW, if you go to Sears parts website, there is quite a bit still available for your dryer. That's where I got the part #.
