Here's a pic of a Greenwich, Sydney laundry mid winter. The machine is a 1980 Hoover 725. The concrete tubs were very common in laundries here up till the 60's. Cheers!

American Washers I've noticed Hoover seems to be about the only American brand that was sold in Britain or Australia in years past, presumably NZ as well. Was that due to trade restrictions, or product pricing? | ||
