That is by far the most unusual rack loading arrangement I have ever seen. What kind of sprayer arm does this have to wash the dishes? |

is large! Bruce, looks like a 4 arm spray similar to older Kitchen Aids from what I can see. |

There should be a ruler across knuckles that you guys have not been paying attention to what goes on on this side of the pond.
This dishwasher does not use spray arms at all but an impellor to drive the water, indeed it may possibly have been the last impellor dishwasher in production as it lasted through into the early 1970s. It is rather smaller than a "standard", its capacity is about 2/3 of a standard machine. If you scroll down to reply 32 on the attached thread you will see pictures of the one Richard (Ricky5050) turned up a while back an some of us saw for the first time earlier this year. There are more pictures and discussion of it further down the thread too. Richard very kindly donated this machine to the Sutton Washer and Dishwasher Collection (leaving me well a truly gobsmacked in the process) a couple of months ago so it will be popping up again Al CLICK HERE TO GO TO vacbear58's LINK |

Older wiring may have been grounded from the panel only, as was the case here in the USA until the late 60's. |

I had wondered because the opening in the center of the rack reminded me of how they did it with impeller dishwashers. Very interesting. Would love to see what the impeller looks like. |
