Who made this dryer? How much is a good price to pay for one? It's at a garage sale.

That's a Sears/Kenmore, early-mid 50s. Pretty sure made by Whirlpool. Does it work correctly? The lower the price the better. Also depends how badly buyer wants it. I would say no more than $100.00. With somewhere between $25.00-$75.00 being more realistic. IIRC someone else here picked one up not that long ago for $35.00?

Looks like a early to mid 50's Whirlpool, or maybe a Kenmore.

From somewhere in the 50's. They also built for Kenmore non-stop.

There's a surprising amount of part still available, these old gems usually are easy to tune-up and run for decades, obviously.

Price under $100. closer to 50, it ain't new, it ain't efficient, but it will get the job done and is likely fun.

Ont thing I learned about these, use white lithium grease on the rear drum spindle, not oil, or it will start to screech again in a week.

Is that the Whirlpool logo on the paperwork? I recognized the control panel as being Sears/Kenmore. So I guess back at that time the Kenmore badged models weren't made to look different from Whirlpool?

Well if it's still for sale after work I'll pick it up.

It looks like a 1956 Kenmore gas dryer. The first two numbers in the model number after 110.## will be the year.
