I'm wondering if in general a vintage gas dryer can be converted to be an electric. The reason I'm asking is I want to inheret my grandfather's lady kenmore gas dryer but have no gas hook up.

Yes, it can be done since I have done that before.

Or you could convert it over to propane. It would take a lot less time and not have to get another dryer for parts and still petty much original to itself.
