Found these posted on CL this past Monday. They were 15 miles away. Washer is WWA8350PALWH from 7/1975. Not sure if P is correct. From info here I see this model is one down from the TOL for 75.
Dryer is 610ELW from 8/1978. I may have model number for the dryer wrong as it was difficult to make out due to the way it was stamped. Maybe someone here can clarify. This is my first GE dryer from the time of Filter-Flo production. Couldn't find any info here on dryers from the period but with it not having an automatic cycle would guess it has to be MOL.
Seller stated they were used here in a summer home. Forgive the pics. It was getting dark and I took them with my cell. Unfortunately both the lint pan and Mini basket were gone. Would those items have been blue to match the agitator? Anyone know what style of basket/pan it would have used? ie: large pan with straight sided basket, or smaller pan with the basket with shoulder on top? Washer doesn't state what capacity so I assume standard and would have used the shorter basket? The agitator is 17" tall.
P.S. Please keep your eyes open for the correct lint pan and basket for me. Thanks.

that's an ExLarge capacity......in any case, the largest tub from these machines...
usually the mini-basket and filter pan should also be blue, at least to keep it original as possible..... but I don't recall if the softener dispenser is available in anything but white.... this video from our wonderful Jetcone/Jon will give you an idea of what the filter pan to this style machine was used, take note of the indent around the center, that was just to hold the dispensed softener until agitation began.....but there are pans that don't have that, and are screened all across the whole thing... but just about any small post filter pan would fit, at least for now.... not that you need a special mini-basket, but there are certain ones that fit certain agitators, yours is an 8 vane....and the mini basket would fit those long vanes exact....there is a white one, that has wider beefier vanes.....just take note to which is which when trying to find one... |

Thanks for the info. I'll recheck the serial number on the dryer. The washer info I referred to finding above was posted by you back in 1/2011(link below). You posted pages from the GE catalog. Do you happen to have that info on the dryers?

I still have the catalogs, but no longer have the ability to scan documents. There is an almost-identical dryer in the 1972 catalog, Model number is DDE6200N. Timer and toggles are identical to yours, but the rectangular background at the timer is dark; so yours might be a year or two off from that.

I checked the Serial number again on the dryer and it definitely starts with RD which equates to 8/1978. I also saw a few more characters in the Model number at the beginning. They are either 10E or 1DE. Hard to make out. Funny thing is they aren't stamped like the rest of the numbers. They are printed like the heading "Model No" are.
