I think it's no older than a 63, the first year they went back to dials on the Imperial and Custom Imperial ranges, but the grounded appliance outlet might make it a year or two newer.

GE really did

bring good things to life then! Is that with the pull out oven cavity?
I'd say about a 1958 to '62?

But they are reaching with that price. Is anyone going to contact the seller and let them know it was manufactured by General Motors and not General Electric?

LOL

Frigidaire by General Electric

So many stupid people, so little time to comment. I hope it finds a nice home with a more intelligent person.

Travis, if you had ever been through Yucaipa, you would understand why the seller can't read.  That having been said, it's like an intellectual hub compared to Desert Center.

Frigidaire 40" Range

Its 61-63, Phil R could tell us for sure, the model# for this range has the model year at the end of it if someone wants to send a message to the seller.

At this price the seller needs to include pictures of the insides of the ovens and more information about the operating condition of the range.

It cannot be a 61 or a 62 because those had linear controls for the surface units. 1963 was when Frigidaire returned to dials for surface unit controls. I checked the Frigidaire file and the grounded appliance outlet first appeared in 1963 and, in 1964, the clock became an oval so this is a 63.

I sold one of those, almost exactly like it. I believe I got more than $750. In fact, I believe I got almost a thousand for it. I will say that mine was perfect, like literally a 10/10. Every function on it worked, original owners manual, and I included a 1 year warranty.

You are correct Tom, I missed the fact that it is a CI, I though that is was just a model down from the CI, it would have to be a 1963, as the 64s had a different look.

I thought

for certain it was not made by GE, but after I saw the Frgidaire top load dishwasher made by DM, why should I question the seller's knowledge if they restored it?
The console is remotely similar to A GE of that era.
