It's in petty good shap. It came out of a house of a 100 year old woman and she still used it! The water value had been replaced at some point. But they broke the drain fitting taking it out:(

No need to apologize.  Are the racks in pretty good shape?

An Awesome find!

Is the wash arm cast iron? What does it weigh? Guess careful loading required in the bottom rack so that the spray reaches the upper rack. How does it compare to the later hydrosweep arm?

Congrats! I'm still looking for a tank for mine as the porcelain is damaged, yours seems to be still shiny!

Wow!  That was a steal - congratulations!  If you ever need parts, a lot of 'em are still available from Hobart.

My aunt

in Ann Arbor had that same Kitchen Aid. It came with their new house in 1963. Also a Tappan 400 36 inch gas range.
