That's my exact old dryer.  "Already sold the washer", too bad couldn't be a nice matched set.

Must be a

type-o. A hundred years ago, people were still putting electric lights in houses to replace gas lamps.

Question about this dryer

This is the exact dryer i have in the desert. I think the sensors are bad and using the timed cycle seems to be the best drying solution.

If I use timed and select permanent press bottom to the left will it change the heat? Or will it dry on the same high heat as selecting the regular button. Does the timed selection only use high heat?

Thanks

What was the cu ft of this dryer?  When I was a kid I thought they were enormous!

I thought they were around 8 cu. ft.  This was long after the 1/18 dryers were gone.  The only thing as large4 or larger were dryers produced by Norge for them, Wards, Magic Chef, Admiral.

Don't worry, it wasn't a matched set. You've seen this one before, it's the very same GE dryer that I inquired about alongside it's Kenmore companion... 2 1/2 months ago!

Here's the old thread:

The 100 years old thing... The seller has tried every possible way to market it without success. Everything except for lowering the price that is! They must not be very motivated to sell.
