Hello, and Welcome all.
Glad to be a part of this forum..
A 26 year old aussie washer enthusiast. Born with Asperger's and always been into WM's since i was about 3. Fondest memories include doing washing with nanna in her hoover twinnie, and jumping in that same one while it was washing with my cousin and I outran a hiding.. lol. I am a professional cleaner working self employed so I have a lot of loads to do and videos to potentially take if the audience is there?? :)

Love the Hoover Twin Tub, Commercial Whirlpool & Speedqueen TL's and Simpson/Electrolux 1000 Series FL's.

Fixed a couple of machines, keen to do some cycle videos... But.
I just bought a Hoover Twin tub for $20 that apparently works...
Picking up tomorrow, so very keen to do a load. Does anyone know what model it is.. It's like my previous one but instead of a red and grey theme my previous was blue and grey with the writing and background.. but identical.

Thanks and look forward to sharing with you all..
Cheers,
Adam.

More than a few Aspys here.  Fascination with moving water?  Could be.

Never ran a Hoover; learned on a '53 Easy, in '73 had a Panasonic, currently a '13 Panda.

Thank you both for the nice welcome. You know Yogi I have to admit they are so much fun probably still my favourite over FL's which brings me to arbilab,

I think it's a mix of the turning and water.. I've been fascinated with WM's my whole life. I also like ceiling fans but they make you dizzy after a while lol. It's actually awesome to know I'm not the only one out there and there is an actual community of people who get what I'm talking about when it comes to machines...

Hi Adam :-)

Nice to see another Aussie on here :-) I have one of the Hoover Twin Tubs you have only in the brown/orange colour scheme. It was needing a new wash belt and drain hose when I got it and after I replaced those it's been fantastic :-)

Welcome!
Matt

...from a retiree in Florida. I think you will find a group of very diverse, knowledgable, and helpful people on this forum. Best of luck with your Twin Tub.
