Given the age of the show, with the episodes starting in the early 90s, I think this is the proper place to ask this.  What is the washer in the kitchen, please? Does anyone have one? Can you tell me if it is just a washer or a washer-dryer? Thank you for any information.

Tom, never noticed the washer, but I'll look for it next week. We get reruns all the time. Good show.

It's very rare that you ever see the washer. It's tucked back into the corner of the kitchen to the left of the stove next to the kitchen's back door. And I can't even remember seeing the front of the dishwasher. I do see Lionel loading it once in a while (always back to front lol) but don't recall ever seeing the machine cause of the camera angle they use.

If I remember correctly, the only time you see the washing machine, it's a Zanussi Quick & Clean.

I believe the dishwasher changes - earlier series have an Ariston, later series have a Zanussi Aquasave.
