Hello all!
I am not sure if I should post this here or not, but I was hoping here it would get the most exposure. I have a customer that has a SpeedQueen NA6531 that is digital. They have a leak on the drive seal. Does anyone have Part# R9900189 (30071P Originally), the drive bell and seal kit? The leak is the only problem with the machine and there is really no point in replacing the machine if a repair is able to be done. I am going to call Alliance on Monday to see if I can get a kit from them, but from the distributors we use, I am not finding that part. If anyone has any thoughts or suggestions, please share them. Have a great weekend! |

I have a Speed Queen from that same era that is a machine that is still up and running. I called Alliance when I had to get a new pump. They no longer carry parts for a machine that old. I have had very good luck with e-bay, I would give them a try, don't give up I'm sure somebody will be able to help you out.

They came in looking for a new machine and after a bit of poking, they said they currently had a speed queen and it's leaking and they don't want to buy anything but a speed queen but feel that the price is too much to spend for their age in life.
I remember him coming in back and forth a few times the last two weeks for random parts. He hadn't had the machine looked at. He used to repair appliances for the gas company, so he figured he'd just try random parts to see if it stopped... He's gonna have the machine brought in so the techs can see exactly whats going on. I'll post more details as I find out whats going on. |

K, so the tech found that its the washer bell seal that is leaking, with a bearing replacement, they decided they wanted to replace it...
Not wanting to spend 800+, they went with a GE GTW220 washer... :/ I tried to keep them with a speed queen, but I guess it is what it is. Was thinking this would be a good machine for me to repair and play around with but in reality it is probably going to get junked. |
