These sets are the Franklin built machines. They were rebadged with several different names. One of them was Gibson and another was Wizard Citation. They were not very good machines at all. The washer, while huge in capacity would get easily off balance and walk across the floor when spinning and the dryers were prone to having the motor overheat and shut off after the first few minutes. At least the sets like these that I have encountered had those problems. The dryer was not anywhere near as large capacity as the washer either. So if you washed a really big load, you had to split it up to dry it all, if you could get the dryer to run long enough to not overheat. It was my experience that they were not very good machines at all and very flimsy built too. The solid tub machines made by Franklin were somewhat better although the dryers were not that great.
That "angel-wing" agitator is nearly useless---- unless you have an 8lb load in the 18lb machine---- at full water-level. Almost no roll-over. Does pretty well at washing out "office dust". Anything really dirty----fahgettaboutit.
It's for free----- If anyone wants it give me a shout.
