Well as you all know I had to scrap a 1985 Whirlpool washer with a double duty agitator because of the leak!! BUT good news. I found a 1983 model in TIP TOP condition from an estate sale in which no one wanted the washer because of its age. I paid a very nice young lady $40.00 for this model. It was owned by a elderly man in which it was not used but only once a week. I filled it up and took it for a test run. I knew I said I would not get another belt driven machine BUT this one had no leaks ran smooth. The elderly man even had the fabric softner dispenser wrapped in the original plastic bag!! Yay. Well here she is. Thanks all.. it goes to show you when one door closes one opens and RIGHT around the corner from my house. Washer washes quiet and great!!
