The wires attached to the sensor and covered with a ceramic puddle just gave way. Elec repair shop says it cannot be fixed. I cannot find one anyplace on the internet. Does anyone know where I can find one? I clipped the wires at the other end and connected them together so the burner works but I have no heat control - just high or off.

Thanks for the help.

Ebay is your best bet. None currently listed but keep checking. Or you can follow the search and ebay will send you an email when one is listed. Prices vary greatly because they haven't been produced for many years. You'll see some listed for more than $200.00. I got one on ebay earlier this year for $60.00. At the same time I've seen John LeFever (combo52) mention here in the past to other people needing one that he had some good used ones he would sell.

One Thing to try: look on Craigslist for ge stoves. You may be able to find an entire stove with the part you need for $50.
