Every Food A Rama I have seen for sale looks like it has been through a nuclear war, and the prices are ridiculous. What in the hell did the owners do to them over the years? There are plenty of much older appliances in better shape originally or have been restored. I would love to see a Food A Rama that is worth buying. They are pretty neat looking appliances.

I think the problem with the FoodaRama is that there's a large amount of plastic in them.  Plastic gets brittle, breaks or parts get lost.  These things have had to live through the time period of being just a big old fridge.  It's that period when people loose shelves and duct tape is the answer to repairs.

 

I agree that a restored one would be beautiful.
