Pretty but they're dreaming.

Adapts for canning? They are confused and that is a charitable assesment.

Wow look at the condition of that range I'm afraid it's worth every penny of 1000 bucks if you're looking for a great range in great condition

Ah it never fails to amuse me how sellers will try to lay on the BS trying to get top dollar for an ordinary item...
'Adapts for canning' indeed... they probably have no clue that such a thing as a deep-well cooker existed and that the cooking pot is ***missing*** from this range.
Rant over... Carry on.

That interior has been repainted, hasn’t it?  Was it done correctly?

Interior Repainted ?

Not likley, porcelain oven liners can not be painted and this is the way they look when in very good condition.

The ovens look like they've never been used. Even the element covers are bright and clean.

I've sold some for that and some for more. When in mint condition and working flawlessly , (no mention of that, I assume it will likely work) he shouldn't have too much trouble getting that kind of money for it.

I have the 1954, and it is not that bizarre shade of blue inside.  Not at all.  I can’t imagine 1953 was much different.  But I guess my monitor could be showing the color incorrectly.
