Half Load option

It makes sense, depending on how it's executed.

Gives you the option to for example remove the middle rack if it's a upper\lower basket only option.
On our Bosch however, half load cuts out the prewash, shortens the ddrying time and allows for a max of 2 interim rinses (The half load Intensive cycle for example is Wash - Rinse - Hot Rinse - Dry instead of Prerinse - Wash - Rinse - Rinse - Hot Rinse - Dry). Good for either small or lightly soiled loads.

LOL, yahhh, Im like what? 0_o But I guess if you can take out the top rack it would make some sense.

As for who made this, it looks like Frigidaire's 18 inch, and I know GE had a knock off of that. But I still can't figure out if its genuine Frigidaire or some other make. Me thinks judging by what looks like an inline heater this might have Euro written all over it.

Or a Chinese knock off of a European design. 18" Danbys last about 3 years in home use according to a colleague who was on her second portable machine at the time.
