Hi all.
I'm hoping to help a friend here. Tapedeck1980 has just signed up after he's had to retire a 13 year old hot and cold fill Indesit and is now in a fast spin of despair over the wash times and performance of new machines. I've suggested he joins here and chats to a few of us and I've particularly suggested my friends MatchboxPaul and Hoover1100. Hoping that by posting this you kind guys (and gals) will welcome him as warmly and helpfully as you did me a few years ago. Cheers, Dave |

Hello and welcome :).
So what are you looking for in a modern machine? I know what you mean about long wash times. Fortunately, lots of modern models offer ways to reduce the wash time. Bosch have Variospeed and Speedperfect buttons that reduce the wash times on the main cottons & synthetics cycles. Miele also have the "short" button. Higher end Beko machines have the "daily quick" cycle which, when used in conjunction with "extra rinse", will give you a full capacity cottons wash with 3 rinses and a full spin in under an hour. |
