Wow!  Amazing that it has never been out of the box all this time!   Good thing I'm not closer to Chicago... LOL

Wow that is really amazing... but I don't think they are any sensi-temps, I think they are the color dots that Hotpoint used to show the burner mating to the temperature controls. Often on an older range you don't see the colors on the burners.

This is killing me!

No Sensi-Temp but there is one "Hi-Speed" 6" burner. It kinda makes me sick to think that more than 50 years ago they could make something this beautiful and there seems to be absolutely no interest in this anymore. I wish I had a good excuse to buy this but I will settle for having the pictures.

That's pretty. Someone better pony up and have that beautiful thing shipped. It's NEW dammit!

It's very nice, and I think it belongs in T'dude's house!

Guess I've never seen a Hotpoint cooktop before or I just don't remember. But what I notice about this that I don't recall seeing before is that its deeper than it is wide. The GE's and other brands I do recall are wider than they are deep. I wonder just what the measurement is front to back? Wouldn't this arrangement tend to put anything placed on the rear burners kind of far back or maybe even close to the wall?

Now that I look at the pics again I realize the buttons being mounted in the unit itself would indicate its made to be mounted out close to the edge of the counter. That would prevent it being too far back.
