Well, it looks like this is a Canadian GE model, but they are very similar to the American versions.
However, even on GE's site, there's very limited info on this particular model. It has a removable filter, so it's got a very similar wash system to the US machines. Looks like it has a few extra cycles, like Rinse. It also has something called "CycloneJet." I'm having a hard time finding out what that is. GE's site says it's for cleaning crusty cookware, which may be similar to Whirlpool's TurboZone??? My GE Profile has a nifty drying fan to help pull steam out of the machine. This unit claims to have Dual Fan drying. So maybe there's 2 fans? This must be a brand new unit, and you'll have to look at it in a store if you can find it. There's NO good pictures online unfortunately. It looks like it could be very similar to the US based:http://products.geappliances.com/appliance/gea-specs/GDT655SSJSS I have a Profile version, and my parents have a lower end version. Similar cycles and wash systems. Performance wise, these GE platform dishwashers wash VERY WELL. They're not THE BEST. But you should be quite pleased with it. I like mine. And if it indeed has some kind of fan-assist drying like my Profile, then you will be very pleased with the drying performance as well. My parents have a regular vent convection dry setup, and it's weak in the drying department. You will need to wash out the removable filter every month or so, depending on your dish-washing habits. If you or anyone else learns more, let us know :) |

OK! Found some interior shots for you!
Now, there's something weird about this machine. It smells like a Chinese sourced unit to me....but the sump filter layout looks just like the US made GEs....so I'm not sure. It seems based on comments in the Reviews section , that this machine is likely sourced from China. Alas, here's some interior shots with a special little scrubbing wash arm in the lower corner. That must be the CycloneJet. www.geappliances.ca/en/products/d... |

The more I think about this, I must interject.
If you're going to spend that much money for a dishwasher, I must recommend this model instead: www.geappliances.ca/en/products/d... It's US made, and the US equivalent model was tested at Reviewed.com with very very good results. It has more features also. Like dedicated silverware spray zone. Bottle jets. Quad blade reversing lower spray arm. Check it out. dishwashers.reviewed.com/content/... |

Sorry...
That's Bullshit. Yes, they ran the machine with not anything else. So the rest of the wash system deflected and helped the spray jets designated for the silverware only. In many frames, they show the machine with plates etc. But when after they load the silverware after the "Baked" test, they load, wash , and then pull the rack out with no plates in that lower rack. Hmmmm..... |

I hate to speak too soon because I don't know what Haier has planned for GE, but I think it's disappointing that GE sold out. The US only has Whirlpool left now. |

You know what else Toploader?!
I noticed in that video that when they recorded footage of the silverware sprays on, the spoons were actually lined up in the holders! And then they unload the machine, and the spoons are thrown together again. Something is certainly fishy with their methods. Alas, it's still a very very good machine. And having that silverware manifold is better than not. |

Fantastic!
That's the exact machine I have. And I rather enjoy it. It does a very good job. Love the bottle wash Jets. The reversing lower arm scrubs the dickens out of nasty pots & pans (when faced toward the center). Be weary.....tall glasses should not go in the corners of the upper rack. There's just not enough Jets to get them clean. That's my only real complaint thus far. Enjoy! |

to operate just as Volvo is in Sweden, under new Chinese ownership. The son of the Haier group's founder attends university for business in Philadelphia. |
