I don't think he escaped but rather was let out, the motor in that washer does not weight anywhere near 350 pounds.

I am with Combo-how can that motor weigh 350 lbs???Is it made from depleted uranium?And the stunt man was let out of the washer by his assistant opening the door for him.There are motors larger than that one in the pumps and blowers in our transmitters that could weigh that much.
