I have decided to go back to gas, Since I have propane here that's what it will be, most older ranges are easily adjusted, I want something from the 50s or 60s, I would love to have a griddle, but that's not a deal breaker, 36 inch preferred, but a 30 or 40 would do, Caloric, Norge, Roper,Kenmore,Chambers,Crown Universal...ESPECIALLY Universal,Brown or Hardwick, or Dixie...I don't really want anything UNLESS it has pilots, no electronic ignition to break down....oh yeah...white turquoise or pink, no vomicado or baby s#$% gold or coppertone....lol thanks Hans

Without wanting to be rude,

could I ask why you are dissatisfied with the Westinghouse or is that range not in use now?

Thanks.

No I will tell you..

Its at Bob Orears house, I'm back to my 1952 Frigidaire Thrifty 30, which probably will stay unless I find something I like much better, The Westy was ok, but just too new..the big oven was great, the small oven was so small very few pans would fit in it, and then it was bad about browning too much on the bottom...If I'm using an electric, I still like Radiantubes and 5 heat positions much better than infinite heat.

Tappan Doughboy

Hans, what about a Tappan Doughboy? There have been a couple listed in this area recently, and they were made for enough years that they should be available in your area, too. And they had a very classic, timeless design. But a relatively small oven.

No OK and M

I had one....definitely NOT my favorite,That Roper in Atlanta is more what I'm looking for, but it looks to have rust issues.....Calorics were great, but would rather have one a little newer, same goes for a Chambers, would rather have one a little later. We had a 56 Frigidaire at home, a great stove .

Are you looking for hook up and use, or something needing some work? I have a Roper, from the mid-late 30's that you can have. Nice shape, but had been sitting in a basement a long time. Needs burner valves repacked, etc.

I agree Hans.  That Kenmore range with all its features is worthy of you , your talent, and enthusiasm in the kitchen.  Only seen the rotisserie in ad photos.
