I just bought, not yet delivered, a dryer from Sears. Model:
Kenmore Elite 81593 The machine must be a closeout, but it still carries the full warranty. Anyone have experience with this dryer? I've never seen so many bells and whistles. The list price was almost $2100, I got for $750. Can't pass up a bargain.

I don't know much about that particular dryer...

...but if it blows your pāʻū up and at that price I'd be inclined to say you did good.

I may be mistaken,

but it looks like an LG product. It's still a very very good dryer though.
Kenmore facia's and consoles are all different than their manufacturers brands, so it's a bit hard to tell. ( Except for their refrigerator bottom grilles.)
A dryer has a motor, a belt, an idler pulley, and two drum rollers regardless of the brand. Those are the main motion parts.

It's LG S top of the line. Note though,it is 30" not 27"wide. The auto dry is so sensitive it gets clothes perfectly dry and wrinkle free. A steal at the price you got it. Enjoy!!!!

LG

is Korean, and several of their appliances are assembled in Mexico for the US market.
Lucky Godlstar.
They began back in the late 70's in the US selling small TV's and microwave ovens.
K Mart used to sell them.

It looks like an LG highbred heat pump dryer

It's a very complicated and potentially unreliable product but it may save you some electricity and Hawaii has fairly high electric rates.

Mike many dryers have four rollers to support the drum and many have none
