Knowing that hubby didn't get me what I wanted this (I've been bad apparently...) I made arrangements to get 3 more vintage dishwashers! I managed to retrieve 2 of them earlier this month and only got them out of the ol' Focus wagon this week. First 'new' toy - a '63 Frigidaire Deluxe spin tube. It has the upper spray arm that I thought was only on the Custom Imperial models! |

Machine #2 is a Frigidare Slant-top portable. It's a Custom Deluxe ( model DWCDTR); I think this may be one of the last Frigidaire top-loaders. It needs some tinkering and a new fill hose but it seems to be in good shape. But '3-level wash' seems a bit of a stretch... We'll find out for sure 2017 with any luck! |

It was only the Custom Imperials that had the detergent dispenser in this design.
Between these two models, you should be able to wash all the preparation and serving pieces from a large meal. |
