just have to blab about the weekend..oh boy it all started when i found out greg and terry were gonna be in st louis for the vac convention, so i thought if just meet them and do dinner..well then i thought id have them over for dinner and we all could play for a bit. so that was the plan. then i got a note from steve in atlanta that he was going to run up to omaha on fri for a pickup.. he wanted me to ride up with him so it thought cool ill take the day off and we can do the omaha trip and then i could have everyone over for dinner on sat..cool huh. well steve shows up thurs eve with the most wonderful surprise for me. it was all wrapped up and i couldnt tell what it was..but as soon as we tipped it i could see the trans i knew. a wonderful 1960 frigidaire multimatic.

we get the washer in to the garage and sack outfor the night. get up early on fri morning and hit the road at 6. then stop over in kansas city to pick up a cool duo-matic. wow i had no idea how heavy those things are. had a hell of a time getting it into the truck and were about ready to give up when steve spys a young neighbor guy and drags him over to help us. so back on the road again. then up to omaha unload and reload with 3 diff machines that steve is taking back with him..drove and drove till we hit st louis again.. stager into the house and crash for the night. then poor steve gets up early on sat and heads out again for another 11 hour drive. what a trooper he is.. and what a sweet guy to have gone out of his way like he does.. brought me a super gift and did so much runnin to help out 3 other guys by hauling machines. so big hugs to seve for all of that!!! then sat eve rolls around and greg and terry make it over with a cool surprise. along with seeing greg and terry (something i have been waiting for a long time)i get to see hans and meet don. having them all here was such a treat!!!!!!!. so we played a bit ate a bit had a cocktail or two and played some more. i had a fantastic time and am so happy to have had everyone here.. was sort of like a little dream come true ha ha.. oh and just in case a pic or two turns up of me trying to close the dishwasher pay no attention to them..it was so not the way it looks.. so hugs and love to steve, greg, terry, hans, and don

Wow Chris, you did have a busy weekend. Can't wait to hear and see more of this Frigidaire washer. I've never seen that style of control panel before. Gee, wish I lived closer and could have joined in on what sounds like it was a very fun weekend. Congrats on the new washer! Patrick

Chris THANKS so much for openning you home to us!! You are so right, we did have a fantastic evening and all thanks to you! Chris has such an awesome collection and as you know from seeing his pictures his machines look like they just came out of their orginal box!! He has the most beautiful Custom Imperial Westinghouse dryer and it is "pank"!! You should see his backyard as well, what a neat water feature he as designed! On top of all this he is a great cook, we had such a nice dinner!! We were also lucky to meet some more special friends there. Dennis, Jeff, and Michael it was a pleasure!! Once again Chris Thanks for such a great time!! And the same goes for me, if a picture or two shows up of me trying to close the Westinghouse roll out dishwasher just remember it sure isn't the way it looks I needed a boost to do my best work!! LOL Hugs, Terry
