Since now owning a Calypso washer for over a year I find a very strange and disturbing that so many people do nothing but bad mouth inning gave terrible reviews on this wonderful machine.

I do have to admit at first there was a bit of a learning curve but since that point in through little trial and error if you think outside of the box of a traditional washing machine this machine can and will give you excellent results.

First problem I ran into was using a regular detergent. Or one thing's for sure you can't use half the amount it's more like an eighth or 16th of the amount of regular detergent that you would want to use. Since conquering that little bottle I now use high efficiency detergent which I also use it in my regular washers.

Second thing I had to overcome was the fact of mixing different kinds of garments. Now why traditionally wash shirts and shorts together. Long pants by themselves. Socks and underwear handkerchiefs stuff like that small hand face towels tiny items altogether.

The third obstacle was trying to teach my girlfriend to use a garment washing bag for Her Bras and unmentionables as before I replaced the wash quite a few things were sucked up underneath and into the pump. Also was getting through to the fact that some of her more sheer close had to be put in the gourmet make two as they could actually be twisted and ripped from the flipping action but we have learned through trial and error once again that if you put the proper amount of laundry and the machine that this machine will perform flawlessly!

I myself have no complaints at all about this awesome and wonderful design and would hope that more collector's out there if you really want an awesome machine that saves a lot of money and will allow you to do as much laundry as you can possibly handle without breaking the bank a Calypso machine is the way to go.

I'm so thrilled by this machine that I actually found a second one that's just missing a control panel and are about to restore it so that in case my number one goes I have a number two for hopefully years to come. I don't ever see this design or efficiency and effectiveness coming around again anytime soon.

I love my Calypso

Thank you for making the vid3eos.   I thoroughly enjoyed watching the two complete cycle4s.

Thanks for the vids.

While I am not a fan of wash plate machines Calypso certainly seems to use more water and moves the clothes where some I've watched seems to be damp clothes just getting wobbled around.
