Nice! Hardly used and a nice red finish. That is a bargain for someone who needs/wants that much stove.

Garland Cafe Range

Great Stoves. Definitely Commercial. Hard to keep clean though.

Disadvantage of the Griddle Broiler is that if you use the Broiler, the High Heat will effect the griddle from the standpoint of it makes it hard to keep the surface of the griddle clean and shiny.
The intense heat from prolonged use will turn the griddle black.= if not cleaned after each use (Broiler and Griddle)

Plus those griddles on those units are NOT thermostatically controlled.

They are definitely commercial level.  Don’t they also need special installation in a residential building?

Oh Yeah....Stupid Commercial

Flex Gas line is nice unless it'a not spec in your area... Standing Pilots. Let's see ... The Broiler Three pilots there,, 3 pilot stands for 6 burners, 2 Safety Thermocouple Standing pilots for the 2 ovens there too.

I lived in a house with this range and it always was toasty warm in Pilot degrees !!!!

Back in the mid 80's my friend Brenda got a Garland range for her new kitchen.
To meet codes, they had to install a commercial vent hood, including fire suppression system. No cabinets could be closer than a foot on either side, and the walls had to be non-combustible. They used cement board covered with ceramic tile.

Very True.

I look at these modern homes and their kitchens that could feed 500+ a night.

Yet they can's get past their Microwaves.

hate this new crap.

Can't see how they can't get passed the commercial specs. Each burner mat put out as much as 18.000 to 22,000 BTUs per burner. times six burners equals 120.000 of heat alone.

It's all nonsense. buy it if you want it.

A good range no doubt:

I would never choose a 6 burner with the combo broiler/grill and standard ovens.  It eats up too much hood space for what it can do  We have the Vulcan equivelant at my church.  They never use the broiler(have a separate char-broiler next to it)  and the flattop grill works OK at best.  Would be better off with a 4 burner with 36" thermostatic grill(no broiler) and 2 convection ovens underneath.  Unless open burners are needed more than grill space then a 10 burner cooktop would be in order.
