Posted here in the group showing that MM model with wood cutting top IIRC.
Think these were TOL as GE got for the MM line in last years before being discontinued. www.vintage-adventures.co... |

That cutting board top was a $30.00 option. Mom did not like the starburst Textolite pattern so we inquired about the wood. |

Finally, it has happened to me, right in front of my face, and I just cannot hide it...
I've contacted the seller to ask for some pictures of the inside. If I'm going to pay for the shipping, I'd better get a good idea of what condition its in.

I'm not going through with this purchase so if anybody was thinking about buying this, please go ahead. Shipping was too much and because it wasn't exactly the Mobile Maid I've been searching for I've decided to wait until the SP-47V comes along. Apparently, you could either buy the 47 model that had a formica top and the rinse agent dispenser, or the 50 model which had the groovy wood block top but NO rinse dispenser, not both (at least in 1960).
Anyway, this model as it is, looks nice and I think the sellers would rather get some money for it than scrap it. It is in Denver so that's the challenge. |
