Just bought a Servis wringer washer from ebay. It still works great, although I have to replace the pump hose and belt as both are a little worn. But a great machine otherwise.!!

Hi Johnny42

I'm interested that you called it a Wilkins Servis. I thought that Wilkins Servis was just the Australian name for Servis machines. Were they also called Wilkins Servis in Scotland too?

Hello John, welcome to the club with a Servis wringer machine, post a pic if you can of the model please ?

Hi Chris the name "Wilkins Servis " was used by the parent company Wilkins & Mitchell on all overseas models and factories, and we had the badge of "Wilkins Servis until the late 50`s when the new "Servis" blue and white logo was launched...

That's useful to know, I'm guessing my new acquisition must be pre 1959 then.

Here is a picture of the Wilkins Servis Wringer Washer. Thanks for the welcome you guys. As you can see, it does heed a lot of work done to it, but I will get there. I need to replace the pump hose, but not quite sure how to do this. Any sugestions would be greatly appreciated.
