If that were to happen to me, I would do the following:

Frigidaire -- Unimatic, Multi-Matic, Roller-Matic (all with Rapidry), or 1-18 (Keep)

Speed Queen -- 1960-70 (w/Stainless Steel Tub/Drum and Clunking Solenoid) (Keep), 1970 or Later (Don't Know -- Up In The Air)

GE Filter-Flo -- TOL or Near TOL (Keep)

Whirlpool/Kenmore -- Belt-Drive (Kenmore?? Lady Kenmore, #2 or #3 Models) -- 1960-87 (Keep)

Westinghouse -- Front Load (1960's and Later)(Keep)

Westinghouse -- Top Load (Not a fan of)(Give Away or Sell)

And the ones I'd keep, I'd renovate, repair, maintain and have professionally painted.
