vintage, or is it all new production? I have a mix of both. (I would call that a Bob load, but yes, the masterloader should make the final ruling.) Lawrence/Maytagbear |

DADoES: I wanted to know how you liked your dishdrawers. I looked at them when I was getting ready to purchase my Bosch, but then decided against it because, as you can see above, we use lots of glasses. I also pretty much subscribe to "if it fits, it goes in." So I was just wondering how you liked them. My best friend in PA has them and loves them, but he doesn't use a dishwasher the way I do. Any feed back from you would be great. |

RE563-- WHAT? You don't put bone china or cut glass crystal in the DW?! You wash them by hand like....like an ANIMAL?! (LOL) I hate washing dishes so much that if I had either of those beautiful items in my collection, I'd probably run them through the DW if push came to shove. I'm also curious about how DADoES likes his dish drawers. I can't see having one as my main machine---I'm way too into oversized/tall pots/pans. I use a lot of full-size buffet chafer pans which wouldn't fit in a dish drawer. But from the look of the picture above, a single drawer can hold a fair amount of dishes. I'm impressed! |

frigilux: LOL--I actually do have that stuff in my collection. For my Birthday, My partner got me a crystal martini Pitcher and 4 matching very tall martini crystal glasses. I did put the pitcher in the dishwasher and when he opened it I got a chewed out for it. Now.............. what you didn't see last nite that was waiting in the wings, (in the sink and all over the countertops in the kitchen). BOB--you may not want to look at this cause i'm sure this is very bad loading, but givin what I and I too hate washing dishes it was the best I could do. ps. the corning baking dish was touched up before placing it in the dishwasher |

OK Here goes my dish load for this evening. Its not quite full to capacity, but I need the coffee pot and Osterizer Jar washed everyday, so I run the '50 Westinghouse dishwasher daily. Just for fun lets put in the jar of Jif Peanut Butter. OK raise your hand if you think this will never come out clean in that thing! |

I'm so sorry to tell you both it was perfecly clean , peanut butter doesn't leave "clear grease" I know how dissapointed you both are. And yes Plastic doesn't dry very well since I disconnected the heater in the dishwasher for the summertime. All the glass items dry with the fan of the impeller going, even without the heater so I just towel off the pastic stuff. |

Robert RE563, Do you have a problem with the Fiesta 19 oz soup/cereal bowls not fitting in between the tynes neatly? In my WP, they bowls "ride up" on eachother after 2 are placed, so I have to load the rack with a space between every 2 bowls. Or, since I also have the smaller 14 oz cereal bowls, I load 2 cereals, 2 soups, 1 space, 2 cereals, 2 soups, 1 space... |

PeterH770: Normally I put the soup/cereal bowls in the top rack. If I have a lot of them I will move the silverware basket over to the one side like in the pic I have posted with the pots/pans load. Then just load them across the front in the lower rack. No problem with them riding up like you mentioned. But I will tell you that I do wish the rows between the tines on the top rack were wider as most of my glasses are wide mouth glasses. |

OK, what you are all about to see is some what disturbing and you should probably take some sort of setitive or have a cocktail before you view. I had an appointment at 5:30pm this evening and thus left the house at 5:10Pm. There were a few dishes setting in the sink--figuring I would take care of them when I got back. HOWEVER........... my darling Partner decided he would do it himself and soooooooooo............ (you all have been warned) Bottom rack first |

An interesting design of the dishwasher is that the wash arm is used as the actual pump chamber. When you remove the wash arm you expose the impeller |

Heres whats hiding under the front access panel, which is covered when you buy the additional cost actual panels On the left is the detergent/rinse aid dispenser and the black fan is actually the fan for the forced air drying |
