That shiny stainless steel tub sure looks like a GE, doesn't it?

I see they've abandoned their faux impeller Immersion Care system. It was certainly inferior to the newest impeller-based top-load offerings from LG, Samsung and Maytag.

New FD Top Load Washers

While these may look like a GE they are very different underneath.

Hi Eugene, yes I was thinking of you the other week in regard to the very short lived FD TL washers with the one piece impeller-tub washers. I have seen only two of these machines in the field [ they both had bad inverters ] It is too bad they were such poor performers as they were actually very ruggedly built. I guess that I should grab one now as they will probably be a rare machine in the future.

Well poop. I was hoping it would be a Elux home brew design.
Off my list.
I won't do Haier.

Under features it says that the Haier has a pulsator, so there seems to be a difference between these two.

Yes, the Haier manual shows a pulsator. The Haier version also replaces the Deep Fill with an Eco button.

So we have had this in Trinidad for a while maybe 2 years but this model is more advanced. bad news the agitator is a one piece design.

it does a 360 one direction and then back but it can also do 90 degree strokes.

the models we have has a dispenser right below the lid where water usually comes from. it seems like a good design

.
So this Frigidaire TL machine is made by Haier?

Haier who is in the process of buying GE...

AND these Frigidaire/Haier look like GE's...

Hard to keep all this straight. Makes me wonder what Haier will actually use from the GE buy besides the name.
