 Looks like a nice 70 series.
Per the ad, it tends to overfill. Any ideas on what needs replacing? It might be a good temporary patio machine for FL-unfriendly and line-dry items until I find a nice Maytag or an EASY Spindrier.

As Nick and Glenn said there could be an issue with the pressure switch, or the mixing valve could be failing, both of which are easy fixes. Either way, this issue would not concern me, and I would get the machine if it's still available. We will help you with it whatever it is Ralph.
It might be interesting to note that this machine is a standard capacity, 1977 Roto-Swirl model. Standard tub machines are rather unusual in the black panel era, as a hugely overwhelming majority of production by this time was large capacity. I hope you get it!! Gordon | ||
