Thanks Eddie I didn't know it was Nick's video.. he's smiling? Those Hobart's go forever. I wonder what kind of Maintenance they require?
I've never heard one of these Hobart commercial dishwashers. From the video they sound like ear protection would be nice.... if you had to be in the same room for a long time. Also do you know if Hobart makes the largest available commercial dishwasher today? Or is it from a foreign source? |

Maintenence...
Keep the Wash and Rinse Arms clean, flush the bottom of the tank and inspect for foreign objects. Make sure the Chemicals are full and the rinse water at 180. That's about it. There is really no periodic lubrication on the motors. The old upper Wash Arm assembly used to be ball bearing which needed occasional grease. Just keep them clean, water hot, and the chemicals at proper concentration and you'll fly through the dishes and wares. I do believe Hobart makes the largest machine which is a Flight Type continuous racking conveyor belt. There are competitors but I personally prefer Hobart over any other brand. The others cost less and Hobart's build quality is stellar compared to others. www.hobartcorp.com/produc... These are the Big Kahuna of Dish Machines This is a feature that is amazing. Keeping one of these Beasts clean used to be very time consuming. I will ask stevet how much one of these TOL machines cost these days. |
