OK young man, Kenmore's took the lead with the electronic control panels, then Whirlpool, Kitchenaid and after that, Maytag. The other manufactures sticked to rotary controls until years later.... Simplicity made easy was the first electronic BD, then the toggle switch start, then the push button start switch, then after that, the clean panel Belt Drive, the end of the year Anniversary Edition Belt Drive, then the Direct Drive sporting the same panel and after that, my unit! |
