I don't think it's a suds saver

I think it's really a top of the line A810. The two buttons are for the soak only / soak and wash option. The A710 only had 3 speed combinations and 3 temp combinations with 4 water levels. This machine has 4 speeds and 5 temps with the infinite level control. It's been a long time since I have seen one. I could be wrong.

My first guess was that the buttons were for the soak options, which I think would be quite handy.
