Hello all, so again here with my newer Maytag Jetclean dishwasher.

So I believe the issue for it surging was an incorrect chopper placement. I took the chopper out to clean it right after I got the dishwasher and it was full of gunk so I took it out to clean it. The surging began after I did the sump clean out with the chopper. So I went back down today to see if the chopper was in its right placement after seeing photos and videos and the screw from the chopper came off.

So I re assembled it and put it back on. Now the dishwasher makes a really funny noise when the motor kicks on. You can obviously hear the chopper spinning, and I know for a fact that you probably shouldn't hear the chopper at all.

What could possibly be the issue? The chopper sound isn't loud but its extremely obvious and noticeable. Im really sick and tired of working on this dishwasher, what should I do?

Not sure about that noise. I'd say replace if you can.

Im done working on it. Im sick and tired, its the same thing over and over again.

But does anyone have any ideas of why it would be making that sound? Im more than likely going to just call a repair man out. Its best for someone that is much more knowledgeable than me do just come out and fix this. Once this issue is resolved, the dishwasher should be perfect.
