I am posting these two pictures for the benefit of someone else who might be trying to install new bearings into their centerpost. My washer is a Kenmore #11072693430 but these instruction apply to more models than mine.
The bearing removal tool, bearing installation tool and seal installer are paramount. I have the bearing removal tool and bearing installation tool and they make quick work of it.
