Can anyone identify the brand and date of this dishwasher? And the rest of the kitchen? It has a Hotpoint like control panel, but the decal seems to be something else.

IIRC, these had pretty, light green racks in them. Different than the standard GE colors. This was probably TOL for Magic Chef at the time, mid-late Almond 80's. I bought a Hotpoint around this time with similar button sets. There is a switch to the right of the timer, not sure what function they would have given that. Might have also had more deluxe upper rack.
The dishwasher, MC range and GE SpaceMaker micro-hood are all likely original to the kitchen. |

Looks exactly like the GE Produced Tappan the new house I built fall 1984/spring 1985. Cycle buttons were heavy, normal, light. The next two buttons were water heat boost on or off. The rocker switch to the right of the timer dial was heated/cool dry. On mine temp boost on lengthened the main wash by 12-15 minutes and the final rinse by about 5 minutes. |
