hi, so I need a new washing machine, and I see this guy posts this front load washer on craigslist for $100, and I figure it is not too much to lose to get it, plus he says he will allow me to test wash it.

However, he is only at the place once a week and does not seem to know much about the machine. He can't tell me much now and I really would love to have a little more info before we meet up.

The only thing I can get from him is that it is a whirlpool and one picture. I was wondering if you can recognize this machine and maybe give me some details about it. At this point, I would like to know if it uses 120 volt outlet and if it is stackable (I only have one 220volt outlet for the dryer, and right now I think i need to stack one on top of the other because of space). Many thanks and have a great weekend everyone!

Looks to be a Whirlpool Duet Sport.

thanks! Is this like a discontinued model or something? I searched for duet sport and nothing with the black control panel thing like this comes up (actually one did and it is a dryer, not a washer)

At any rate, is it likely to be stackable and uses 120 volt (I read that stackable washer uses 220 volt). thanks again!

WP Front Load Washer, this full sized FLW uses 120 volts and needs it own outlet, like ALL 27" front load washers sold in the US.
