The 1955 Kevinator set was certainly visually appealing. In fact "train guy" has a picture of a pale yellow set like these in his pictures that is beautiful. This washer and dryer set did a good job of cleaning and drying together. The washer may have had a solid tub, but the dryer did not and any sand or sediment would find it's way out of the clothes and eventually in the lint trap on the dryer. The glass inserts on the lid and door were quite nice and the show the washer would put on for you as it did it's job was very entertaining. Kelvinator sets of this vintage are my all time favorites. ABC o matic sets were basically the same.
