Whirlpool Direct Drive Washers do a good job a cleaning! I technically have a Whirlpool Direct Drive Washer, but I loaned it to a friend whose washer broke, and needed one until their washer was fixed (my friend got a new washer, and told me they put it into storage until I came to get it). It was from 1996, and it did an amazing job at cleaning towels! The only thing it did not have was the partial drain on the super wash cycle, but it still did a good job.
